“Spill of the hunt”

Films: Monster Hunters (2020)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: Twice that of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: The Asylum did the unthinkable, and got the chance to release their pitiful Mockbuster before that which they were Mockbusting. But one would think their effort would be a step above the insulting adaptation of one of our favorite video games. Sadly, it WASN'T.

History: As it turns out, the various monsters that have haunted the Asylum universe have not been forgotten by the people. Now, the Alien Defense Unit has been formed, and it's got itself a new target. Somewhere in the forests of North America, alien invaders that have been rather persistent with Earth have crashed, and they're more trouble than they seem. Can they be stopped by a small handful of soldiers?

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: In the end, the largest of the aliens is killed while the main ship is brought down. Just another day for the ADU, it would seem.

Powers/Abilities: Despite their size, these aliens are quite nimble, and can jump incredibly high.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-These aliens have incredibly malformed faces and bodies...and that's it. The rest is undone by some of the worst CGI the Asylum has to offer. There is next to nothing convincing nor unique about these invaders, and that's saying something, considering the garbage this company has produced before.

Trivia: -The creatures in the beginning montage include the titular beings from "Alien vs. Hunter", the Tengu spawn from "Monster Island", and even Mizuchi from "Monster". All of which are Asylum films.

-This is actually the first Asylum film to use motion capture for its monsters. It's...certainly a rocky start, to say the least.

And YET...still more detail than the ACTUAL Monster Hunter poster. How do you do that?!
In need of your sympathy.
